Hele Park's Custom Fitting Studio

At Hele Park we use the Vector Pro Launch Monitor and traditional loft & lie techniques to achieve the best results possible in club fitting.

When you have a fitting session at Hele Park you begin with a warm up on the driving range with one of our PGA professionals. This allows him to understand how you are currently playing and where you would like to improve. He will check your current equipment, which clubs you like or dislike before moving on to assessing your height, body type and swing to give a starting point of which clubs will be best for you to try.

We also ask if there is a specific club you want to try and begin by finding the correct length club for you and your swing.

Once we have found the correct length we checkthe lie angle to ensure the club is being delivered to the ball squarely to gain maximum distance.

Now we have the correct length club with the best lie we determine which shaft and flex is best. This is where the Vector Launch Monitor comes into its own by reading club head speed, ball speed and spin, recording how the shaft performs with your swing.

We hold hundreds of demo clubs in the studio for you to try and with the IMix system we are able to try many shaft/head combinations. With the knowledge of our PGA professionals you will see the benefits quickly and clearly. With the Vector Pro Launch Monitor your professional will know what clubs you require and you will immediately see the improvement in ball flight.

We charge £25 for a custom fitting. If you purchase clubs this is deducted off the price. If not, you are given a voucher to the value of £25 to spend in the Pro's Shop.
